The Ministry of Agriculture is seeking a detail-oriented, values-driven individual to join the Consultation and Engagement Unit as a Sales and Leasing Analyst. This position will focus on the disposition of agricultural Crown lands, including lease and sale auctions, sales to lessees, permitting, as well as Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) and Specific Land Claim sales. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders, clients, and other government entities to ensure efficient, transparent, and fair processes for Crown land sales and leasing.

The Sales and Leasing Analyst will be responsible for:
- Administering the disposition of Crown lands, including the sale and lease auction processes, permitting, and other Crown land sales.
- Conducting research and analysis to provide policy and program recommendations.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Crown land sales, leasing, and permitting.
- Working closely with stakeholders, including lessees, Indigenous communities, government agencies, and business developers, to support land management objectives.
- Reviewing and assessing applications for sales, leases, and permits in accordance with applicable policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to Crown land transactions.
- Providing clients with guidance on land tenure, leasing options, and related regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the ministry and with other government entities to support Crown land management initiatives.

- Accurately reference and interpret Acts, regulations, policies, and guidelines to respond to land use inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to explain policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills when assessing land use applications.

- Manage multiple tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.
The skills required for this position would typically be obtained through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Agriculture, Public Administration, Environmental Sciences, Geography, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in policy development, land management, or regulatory compliance.
