The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment’s Corporate Services and Policy Division has an exciting senior leadership opportunity as the Executive Director of the Financial and Property Management Branch. We are seeking a results-oriented visionary to provide leadership and direction for the delivery of a diverse range of financial, administrative and management services.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, this position provides:
- Leadership and management oversight for business continuity, risk and accommodations planning, asset management, procurement, revenue processing, Crown land registry administration and workplace health and safety; and
- Advice and guidance with regards to developing and implementing business solutions that enable sound decisions and make certain that supports, services and operations are optimally managed.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and have knowledge of:
- Financial management and accounting principles and practices;
- Government budgetary and financial processes;
- Governance and accountability principles; and
- Proven experience managing human and financial resources.

The knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through completing a degree in business and/or accounting or public administration or related financial discipline and government experience. A Chartered Professional Accountant designation would be considered an asset.
