For competitions for Permanent Part-Time positions or Terms >=9 months within the scope of the PS/GE Collective Bargaining Agreement, SGEU members (PS/GE) who have earned competition seniority within that seniority unit, will be considered prior to any other candidate. Note: A term employee is entitled to use seniority to compete for term and permanent part-time positions in their previous seniority unit for one hundred and eighty days from when the previous term ended.

For competitions within the scope of the CUPE 600 Collective Bargaining Agreement, CUPE members may be considered prior to any other candidate.

NOTE:  Employees moving from Executive Government to an Agency, Board, Commission, or Treasury Board Crown, or vice versa, are advised to ask about transfer of benefits and entitlements prior to accepting a position with the other organization.
